Overview

Pirate Radio 109.9 is a global directory of independent, underground, and pirate radio stations. Stream live broadcasts, research the history behind songs and stations with an AI music engine, and now — tokenize legendary stations as collectible NFTs.

The platform runs across linked hubs: pirate-radio (this site), musicbot (AI research), and the new NFT collectibles layer.

Discover & Listen

Home — scroll through the hero, the station grid (filter by genre), and the featured WWOZ player. The live player streams audio directly in-browser.

Pirate Stations — open the Pirate Stations page, pick a category, and hit play on any station card. A sticky “Now Playing” bar appears while audio is active.

Tip: Use the SciFiBot panel button on any station card to pull up its full history instantly.

MusicBot Research

The MusicBot widget answers questions about songs, artists, stations, genres, and music history. Responses are cached so repeat queries are instant and token-efficient.

Open MusicBot and go to the Music Research Widget tab.

Pick a query type (Song, Artist, Station, Genre, History).

Type your question and press Research. Cached responses are marked \u201cCached\u201d; fresh ones show \u201cLive AI\u201d.

Check the Cache Library and Token Analytics tabs to see savings.

NFT Collectibles

Each station can be minted as a limited-edition NFT (100 editions max), with a creator royalty on resales.

Mint Station

Fill the form with station name, frequency, genre, rarity, edition, brand color, and price.

My Collection

Browse your NFTs. List any for sale on the secondary market or remove one.

Collector\u2019s Vault

Total floor & insurance value (boosted by rarity tier) plus full provenance.

Go to Mint Station and complete the form (station name is required).

Choose a rarity — Legendary carries the highest insurance multiplier.

Mint. Your NFT appears in My Collection.

Press List on any card to put it on the secondary market.

Rarity tiers & insurance multipliers: Common 1.0× · Uncommon 1.2× · Rare 1.5× · Epic 2.0× · Legendary 3.0×.

Donate

Support the station via crypto. The donation section on the Home page lists wallet addresses for BTC, ETH, SOL, and LTC — click any address to copy it.

No login required to donate; just send to the displayed address from your wallet.

Book a Call

Schedule a 30-minute video consultation from the Book section on Home.

Scroll to the Book a Call section.

Pick an available time slot.

Confirm. A booking confirmation appears on screen.

Submit a Station

Independent stations can join the global directory. Use the Submit call-to-action on the Home page to register interest.

An enhanced submission form (full metadata, logo upload, schedule) is on the roadmap.

FAQ

Do I need a wallet to browse NFTs?

No — browsing the collection and vault is open. Minting assigns a generated collector ID for now; on-chain wallet binding is roadmap.

Why do some MusicBot responses appear instantly?

They\u2019re served from the response cache. Fresh queries hit the AI and are then cached for 7 days.

Can I remove an NFT I minted?

Yes — use the trash button on the card in My Collection.
